What is Profhilo?
The first of its kind, this natural enhancer is an exciting new Injectable Moisturiser & Bioremodeller of the skin. Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.
What does Profhilo contain?
It contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. It consists of two types of hyaluronic acid combined uniqely by patented NAHYCO® technology resulting in prolonged stimulation of the dermal layer so that once injected into the skin, it not only hydrates but also counteracts skin laxity and acts as a bioremodeller to improve and restore skin firmness by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, resulting in increased elasticity and support.
What areas of the Face and Body can it be used on?
The most common areas of treatment include the face, neck and décolletage. It can also be used on the hands, arms, knees and abdomen. The treatment is suitable for both men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
How is the Treatment performed on the Face?
The Face is first cleansed well and if required, Topical anaesthetic cream can be used prior to increase comfort. Dr Ros will then map out 5 injection points on each side of the face. Dr Ros uses the Profhilo BAP technique where the injections are given superficially into the upper cheek, nasal base, lower cheek, jawline, and chin
Profhilo can be used to assist dermal tissue repair process as in acne, scarring of the skin and helps where there is also small loss of underlying adipose tissue.
How many treatment sessions are needed?
TISSUE remodelling is obtained in 2 TREATMENTS * (1 MONTH APART) .We call the first treatment session the INITIAL ACTIVATION STAGE where the product is injected and gradually disperses, stimulating collagen and elastin, attracting water within the deeper layers of the skin to provide structural support and hydration.
Then 1 month later Dr Ros will perform a second treatment which is the SECOND RESULTANT STAGE . Following this stage within 2 -4 weeks is when the skin remodelling process begins. The advanced formulation stimulates the body’s elastin and collagen proteins. This stimulation will show
improvement through the skin tightening and lifting effect.
Maintenance Treatments every 6 MONTHS are recommended to maintain the results
